Kenya’s Deputy President, H.E. Prof. Kithure Kindiki officially addressed the 18th COMESA Business Forum.

In his remarks, he emphasized the need for COMESA to move beyond the export of raw materials and focus on creating higher-value products that can be competitively traded within the region and globally.

COMESA Secretary General, H.E. Chileshe Mpundu Kapwepwe, highlighted COMESA’s continued efforts in strengthening private sector development through strategic partnerships and engagement platforms such as the Business Forum.

And the CBC Board President, Mr. James Chimwaza, underscored the importance of developing real based business solutions that address real challenges and align with the region’s infrastructure realities.

The Forum is being held alongside the COMESA Multi-Sectoral Exhibition, running from 7th to 9th October 2025 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi, Kenya.
