Mrs. Namita Jagarnath Hardowar is an experienced senior professional in Strategy, Governance, Leadership Development, and Organisational Transformation. She reckons more than 25 years of experience in both the private and public sectors, including the retail, financial services, training, manufacturing, airline and professional consulting sectors. She started her career at Air Mauritius Co Ltd and has been closely involved with regulatory and policy-making agencies, having worked for the Mauritius Institute of Training and Development (MITD) and the Financial Services Commission (FSC).
Mrs. Namita Jagarnath Hardowar is the Immediate Past President of the Mauritius Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI). She is currently the Chairperson of the Mediation and Arbitration Center (MARC) Board and a Board member of Mauritius Networks Services. She equally serves as Director on the Board of other private companies. She is a Fellow Member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIOD) and is also the Past President of the Association Mauricienne des Femmes Chefs D’Entreprises (AMFCE).
In March 2024, Mrs. Namita Jagarnath Hardowar was elevated to the rank of Commander of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean (CSK) by the Republic of Mauritius for her contributions in the field on Business Development. She holds an MSc in Human Resource Studies with Distinction from the University of Mauritius and a BSc (Hons) in Management. She is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Institutional Expert Services (IES), an advisory, consulting, and capacity-building firm.
